I have a habbit of judging animes without watching them develop. Ouran Host Club started off like that for me. I remember talking to someone I met on the train who took a liking to my Ryo-ohkie bag and asked me to read her Ouran High School Host Club fanfiction. I didn't want myself to look like a complete nasty piece of work so I agreed and she gave a URL for her fanfiction. I read her work and I found myself wanting to give Ouran Host Club another chance. I told Andrew my brother this and he bought me the manga to try out. I begin reading the manga and I find myself enjoying it. I decided for the manga's sake I will give the anime another try. The anime eventually becomes charming and witty like the manga but it missed alot of things the manga featured. I liked how the story progressed. Though I cannot stand Renge.
I go on Livejournal and read afew entries when I discovered that Funimation have bought a liscence for the dubbing of Ouran Host Club. This is strange, from what I gather from this anime. It's popular, its got a great storyline, the characters are completely insane but have some dark shadows lurking over them, the artwork is really amazing etc. What took these guys so long to get Ouran? Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star were bought up really quickly.

If you are a sub person, then you can always watch the subtitled version. How great are DVDs for that, eh? However, as far as dubs goes, this is prolly the best choice of cast since Full Metal Alchemist. In my personal opinion that was a decent an enough watch. The actors brought out the emotions and personality of the characters so well. I wish all the cast of Ouran High School Host Club the very best of luck and await for the DVD realise in the UK. Which hopefully will be soon after the US realise.
